HOW TO SCAN DOCUMENTS WITH YOUR ANDROID PHONE'S CAMERA

With the arrival of Digital India mission everything seems to have become online. The manual procedure of submitting the hard copy of the original documents in photostat form has now been replaced with uploading of scan documents online. From filling up examination form to passport form fill up everything now has taken place over internet. But it's not possible for everyone to afford a scanner and even if you can you cannot carry it anywhere and everywhere like you do it with your phone. You can go to a  nearby cafe and get your documents scan there but again it gonna cost you some money and suppose you need to send some scan documents urgently at 11.00pm, now you cannot expect to find any cafe to be open at such an hour. Right? What will you do then? Well you don't need to worry now because you can make your android camera into a scanner  without paying a single penny.

It’s time to throw away your old, phased out scanner that has been collecting dust in the corner of your desk. These days, most people use their mobile devices to take photos of notes and important documents.CamScanner is one of the most popular mobile apps for "scanning" documents, notes, business cards, and so on. It is also extremely rich in features. The app can automatically straighten, crop, and enhance the taken image in order to make it more presentable and easier to read. STEPS FOR USING CAMSCANNER IN ANDROID

1. First, download the Cam Scanner app from Play Store or click below here.
   
2. Once downloaded, install it and then open the application, the home page will look  as follows, Here we are suggested to register, but I prefer to go to "use now".
   
3. Then next step, Choose "start scanning" icon as shown below.
   
4. Click the required document you want to scan.
   
5. After the photo is taken it automatically identifies the document and crops the unwanted section. You can also manually crop if you want.
   
6. You can change the effect of the document (but i suggest let it remain auto). And then click on the right bottom tick to save it.
   
7. You can convert the file to JPEG or PDF format as desired.
   
8. And then share it through various modes.
   

CamScanner is a simple replacement for a physical scanner. It might not have the same quality results as a physical scanner, but it works. If you have a lot of things you need to scan, this is a good app to use. It has got 4.6 rating and 100 million downloads on Google Play Store.
